I first contacted Esther on Saturday morning to enquire about a dress alteration, I had an appointment with her on Saturday afternoon to discuss the alteration; she then contacted me the next day to say my dress was ready! Esther is a lovely lady who really cares about her customers, she is very good at her job and very efficient, I will definitely be utilising Esther's services again and will also recommend her to people I know. I took my Best man, 3 Ushers & my Father-in-law to Esther prior to our wedding. We turned up with our suits not knowing what to expect. Straight away Esther told us what each trouser needed to ensure it was well fitted, her judgement was fantastic. She was very accommodating to us as we all had to go at different times due to work commitments etc, she worked around us. She was even prepared to exchange my friends trousers for a longer size if necessary, she researched that off her own back, she was happy to go the extra mile. I'll definitely be using Esther again for any clothing alterations, would 100% recommend her services, very well priced too.
Absolutely AMAZING ! Had an emergency and my jacket needed tailoring before 11am. The evening before I found Esther and gave her a call at 18:30. She kindly offered to carry out the task and resolved my issue. Very fast and reliable ! 100% recommendation !
It's a few months since Esther did an excellent job altering some curtains, for a competitive price. I'm really pleased with the result and the process of discussing the job to collecting the finished article was within a week, even when I said I wasn't in a hurry. Usually if I had failed to complete a review within a few weeks, I wouldn't bother. However it has been nagging away at me, and I've finally got round to it because Esther deserves the 5 star review.

Amazing work on 2 dresses on bought for my girlfriend for Christmas. Had them done on the day and they now fit incredibly. Price was a bit higher than I might've thought, but honestly you pay for the quality and expertise and it's absolutely worth it.
I contacted Esther about having two zips replaced - one on an expensive winter coat with a removable lining and one on a heavyweight fleece. I sourced the zips via Ebay myself as I wanted genuine all-metal YKK zips (I was fed up with the plastic ones breaking). Esther did the job in about 3 days (though she quotes longer at busy times) and I got a phone call to go and collect. The workmanship is by far the best I've ever seen - and I've used sewing and repair services in and around Stourbridge, Brierley Hill and Kingswinford before now. Both coats look brand new now - very neat stitching lines and the zips look better than the originals. I can't fault the service and the price is very competitive as far as I'm concerned - so I'll be using Esther again and won't hesitate to recommend her to friends and family in the area. She does far more complex work that just zip replacement and I know I'm going to have some requirements in the near future. Now I know where to go!
I left Esther with my men's suit trousers at 4pm on the Friday evening. By 11am the following day she had been in touch to say the alteration was complete and my trousers were ready for collection. A brilliant service.

Curtains shortened. Esther gave good advice and the curtains fit perfect. Left them Friday and ready for collection the next day which was fab as not expecting that. Will be taking my wedding dress as Esther is brill!

Esther's work has been fantastic in the times I've used her services, accommodating additional requests, all with friendly and prompt customer service. I wanted a waistcoat alternated to my size, took it to Ester, she measured up with no fuss. Work carried out quickly at a very reasonable price.
Can’t recommend this lady enough, she worked wonders on my dress as it was too big and the smaller size was sold out. She worked on the dress and it was ready in a few days! It was perfect! Wouldn’t go anywhere else for my alterations now!
I needed a suit altering for a friends wedding, so I choose Esther's Alterations based on their reviews and I was not disappointed. Excellent needle work on my suit, knows what she's doing and only gives excellent advice and work, no sales pitch to get you to spend extra. Will only use Esther's Alterations from now on for any alterations.
